Our experienced professional all-volunteer training staff works with the Veteran and their dog to train and certify them as a service dog team to perform tasks and help alleviate many of the symptoms combat Veterans battle daily.

Newhall Fields Community Farm is an agricultural gem in an urban setting for all of us to visit, cultivate, and enjoy. Accessible and beautiful, it fosters community spirit and encourages ‘learning on the land’ by cultivating farmland, preparing soil, planting seeds, raising and harvesting food, volunteering, educating, and hosting community events. Between May and October of 2020, Newhall Fields Community Farm has donated over 1,720 pounds of produce to Haven from Hunger.

Acord Food Pantry was founded in 1991 with the mission of empowering individuals and families to feed themselves in a nutritionally balanced way. We are a green, nondenominational, grassroots organization supporting the residents of Essex, Hamilton, Ipswich, Manchester, Topsfield and Wenham. We are a fully self-supported pantry and fill our shelves through food and monetary donations: as well as private, business and community grants. We serve our clients with the help of over 120 volunteers each month.

Citizens Inn breaks the patterns of instability that lead to homelessness and hunger for every individual served. They currently house 35 families experiencing homelessness at the Inn Between and Inn Transition and feed thousands of families from the North Shore who are food insecure at their Haven from Hunger food pantry and meals program.
